Stawell Hospital Foundation
The Stawell Hospital Foundation was established in 1989 by a group of committed local residents who wanted to support their hospital by raising funds for vital equipment.
A Trust Deed created a Public Charitable Fund, allowing individuals, businesses and community groups to contribute and help strengthen healthcare services for the Stawell community.
Since its inception, the Foundation has contributed more than $1.3 million to Stawell Hospital, enabling the purchase of significant medical equipment that continues to support patient care today.
Stawell Hospital Auxiliary
The Hospital Auxiliary has tirelessly fundraised for nearly 100 years to benefit our hospital, primarily through popular community events such as luncheons, dinners, and garden parties.
In 2023 we have been able to purchase additional medical equipment due to the fundraising efforts of the Hospital Auxiliary, including a Deluxe Difficult Airway Trainer for our Clinical Education team and three vitals monitors for our Oncology Centre.
If you are a retired person looking to dedicate a small slice of your time to voluntary work, the Stawell Hospital Auxiliary would love to hear from you.
